Zooey Deschanel & Joseph Gordon-Levitt - What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?

Now that the majority of the 2011 winter holiday season has passed, the only other big celebration that most of us have to look forward to before returning to work and school is the bringing in of the new year. The big question is, how will you celebrate it? 500 Days of Summer co-stars/on-screen lovebirds Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt want to know. Harnessing the talents that each has shown through their respective music projects, She & Him and hitRECORD, the movie stars and close friends sat down for the webcam and performed their own rendition of “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” Watch above as Deschanel strums her ukelele, Gordon-Levitt picks at his acoustic guitar and both impressively belt out the lyrics to this classic song, which was written in 1947 by Frank Loesser and made famous by the likes of Grammy award-winning jazz singers Nancy Wilson and Ella Fitzgerald.
