Adding to its ongoing resume of collaborative ventures, TRAVERSE TOKYO readies its latest three-part project alongside Hirofumi Kiyonaga of SOPHNET. and TAI HACHIRO-KINSEI. Maximizing each party’s expertise, the group worked on a pair of handcrafted celluloid eyeglasses titled “Carol B. Goode Eyewear.” Giving nod to designer frames of ’50s and ’60s American fashion, two transparent Carl Zeiss lenses are housed within the midst of the clean lines of the understated polished black frame. The handcrafted pair, which is slated for a December 12 release date, will be retailing for ¥38,850 JPY (approx. $500 USD) exclusively through the TRAVERSE TOKYO web shop.
