Selector: Danny Brown w/ Joker Freestyle

Detroit-based rapper Danny Brown, who back in August released his album XXX on Fool’s Gold Records, recently met up with the folks at Pitchfork’s web series Selector to lay down a new freestyle. Along with the backing track from UK producer Joker, Brown showcases some of the same offbeat lyricism that was prevalent on his recent LP. Most of all, Brown seems determined to prove he has the one-of-a-kind style and technical abilities required to be a rising star in today’s rap scene.
