The 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class features a variety of high-profile acts, namely headlined by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, Guns N’ Roses and Freddie King. The Beastie Boys nod is significant in the fact that very few hip-hop acts make it all the way to Cleveland, Ohio. Notable snubs for this year were The Cure as well as Eric B. and Rakim. The induction ceremony is slated to be held on April 14 and will then air on HBO in May. See the entire class below:
