Taking strides to establish a relevant presence within the technically-driven outerwear fashion niche, Umbro joins Japanese label R.NEWBOLD for a Holiday 2011 Winter Down Jacket collaboration. Adopting a custom camouflage all-over-print, the down-filled jacket possesses both the waterproofing and windproofing technologies of a winter-ready piece while maintaining a distinct visual identity that is often demanded of fashion outerwear pieces. Contrasting taped zippers, a drawstring hood, HEAT NAVI materials, and black interior lining complete the bold silhouette. The jacket is now being offered through Paul Smith Japan with a retail of ¥39,900 JPY (approx. $511 USD).
