After being commissioned by France’s Le Royal Monceau-Raffles Paris, French industrial designer Philippe Starck and his dedicated team had the daunting task of providing the luxury hotel with intricate, handmade chairs for their suites. The project saw the transformation of a bland, white chair in turn being reworked into an artistic masterpiece. The video above documents the intriguing process from Starck and crew on the road to perfection, as it detailed their many mishaps as well as a proud final product.
