We have to admit, the choice for this year’s top song has been an easy one. There has been hardly a tune in recent years that evoked such intense reactions from the people like The Throne’s ubiquitous “Ni**as in Paris.” With no official video in tow, the tune has managed to be on replay for ten times in front of a live audience. While this already speaks for itself, the song has not only been synonymous with the massive success that Jay-Z and Kanye West have experienced with their Watch the Throne project, but has also developed into a cultural phenomenon with certain lines becoming trending topics on social media, quoted on TV and print magazines and whatnot. Hence, we had to give it to The Throne. As for the rest for the list, feel free to agree or disagree and to discuss in the comment section below.
