After a certified gold album with Torches, a double platinum-selling hit single with “Pumped Up Kicks,” and a popular follow-up single with “Helena Beat,” indie-pop band Foster the People is back yet again with another song for the masses. The track, “Don’t Stop (Color On The Walls),” is off of the aforementioned album and maintains a similar sound to the other songs found on the set. To accompany it, the Los Angeles-based rockers have released a music video that co-stars Gabourey Sidibe, the Oscar-nominated actress known for her breakout role in the 2009 film Precious. In it, the band’s lead singer, Mark Foster, plays a faux driving instructor who turns Sidibe’s driving test into a reckless escapade through town. The police officers who chase them are, of course, The People’s bassist Cubbie Fink and drummer Mark Pontius, so it’s a given that they get in on the ridiculousness of the video as well. Press play on the clip above, and head over to iTunes to buy Torches.
