Maintaining the unique toe box shape and upper form of the original model, the shoe is treated in an elegant velveteen upper covering that culminates atop a rubber outsole. Offered in tonal black as well as a red iteration, the aptly titled “Veludo” edition is rounded out with black tube laces and brushed metal eyelet hardware. The Jack Purcell Veludo is available starting January with a price tag of ¥7,140 JPY (approx. $92 USD) each.
