City of Toronto scolds Drake for using logo

It appears that the city of Toronto is not too fond of a billboard for Drake’s new album Take Care. As October’s Very Own points out, the Toronto Star published an article indicating that the famed rapper failed to ask permission to use a modified version of the official city logo on Gardiner Expressway in order to promote his album. City spokeswoman Francine Antonio-Forte commented to the newspaper:
“We would suggest that the treatment of the word Toronto used on the billboard is very similar to the wordmark that forms part of the Toronto logo. The similarity of the wordmarks, in conjunction with other creative elements used for the billboard, may cause some confusion about the source of the information.”
You can see the actual sign of Toronto here, so you be the judge if you think this complaint is justified or not.
