Chairlift - Met Before

After disappearing for a few years, Brooklyn-based indie outfit Chairlift is on the comeback. The band, which has downsized from trio to duo, has been busy preparing their sophomore album on Columbia Records, Something, and has been giving fans a taste of it over the past few months with songs such as “Sidewalk Safari.” Now, they’ve returned with “Met Before,” another track from the forthcoming LP. As Pitchfork points out, this one takes cues from the 1980s and UK new wave, and has a bigger feel than many of the songs on 2008’s Does You Inspire You. Press play below.
