To coincide with the recent group drawings of UEFA EURO 2012, adidas unveils its all-new match ball for next year’s tournament. Many of adidas’s balls of the past few major tournaments have come under fire for unpredictable flight as the German sports maker looks to ensure their latest efforts go above and beyond and rectify any previous issues. The design itself is inspired by one of adidas’s greatest World Cup balls ever – the 1978 Tango with a more contemporary aesthetic alongside revamped production processes. A video highlights all the groundbreaking innovation that has gone into the ball which has involved many of top current and former players of the game.
