2012 Bentley Continental GT & GTC V8

Ahead of the January 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Bentley pulls the covers off of the Continental GT and GTC V8 which both enjoy a brand new 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine. At the stomp of a pedal, 500 hp and 487 lbs-ft of torque are available and mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Speculative performance numbers have the Bentley reaching 0-60 mph under five seconds thanks to an AWD drivetrain and a top speed of over 180 mph. Given the current environmental climate, Bentley has also made it a priority to include strong fuel efficiency performance and low CO2 emissions which include a 500 mile range per tank and a 40% improvement fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions respectively.
