WZRD (KiD CuDi & Dot Da Genius) – Brake

Following the announcement that his project with frequent collaborator Dot Da Genius would be renamed from “2 Be Continuum” to “WZRD,” KiD CuDi dropped the first audio taste of this promising project. Titled “Brake,” the guitar-driven and rock-infused track still maintains a similar feel to the music that fans have come to know and love from Cudi. And although Dot was the genius behind the production on Cudi’s hit single “Day N’ Nite” a few years back, he stated through a tweet that the musical backdrop on “Brake” was a collaborative effort. Give it a spin below and mind you that the WZRD album is due out on Cudi’s 28th birthday, January 30, 2012.
