With a seemingly endless selection of laptop cases, it is often difficult to find one for the sartorially inclined. A design initially constructed for personal use, Rainer Spehl releases the Noah Case – a wonderfully handcrafted wooden box made to hold 13-17 inch MacBooks. Made from solid oak, this refreshing travel piece features a leather lining, brass hinged and magnetic closure system, as well as a finish consisting of multiple stains and sand jobs requiring three days to complete. This MacBook case alternative will be available tomorrow at Berlin retailer Ucon with a price tag of €280 EUR (approximately $377 USD). Also feel free to check on the making of video here.
