From Justin Bieber to She & Him to Michael Bublé, it seems as though everyone is in the Yuletide spirit this year. After successful Christmas album releases from those artists, the next in line for a holiday-themed music offering is none other than renowned band The Killers. To show support for those in need during the season of giving, the Las Vegas alt-rockers, who haven’t been very present since they released their third album, Day & Age, in 2008, have just released an EP from which proceeds will be donated through (RED) to help the worldwide fight against AIDS. In addition to features from the likes of Elton John and Toni Halliday, the project also includes a brand new song called “The Cowboys’ Christmas Ball,” which pays tribute to December 25th in country western spirit. Give it a listen below, and head over to iTunes now to donate to a good cause by purchasing The Killers’ (Red) Christmas EP.
