Shwood Presents: Inspired by... Patrick Dougherty

Oregon eyewear manufacturer Shwood, known for creating innovative sunglasses from natural-wood materials, takes inspiration from many of the artisans that call Portland home. In paying homage to these influential minds, Shwood introduces the Inspired by… series, with the first video starring sculptor Patrick Dougherty as he creates large, galvanizing shapes made of tree saplings. Follow directors Gary Tyler Mcleod and Austin Will as they take us through the intriguing design process as well as what inspires Dougherty to create these various one of a kind architectures.
