Providing a renewed relevance to iconic clothing brand Eddie Bauer, British designer Nigel Cabourn has recently been working with the outdoor label applying his contemporary menswear vision to a new series of pieces for Fall/Winter 2011. The latest in the collaborative effort arrives in the form of the Geddes Clip Jacket, a quilted parka jacket filled with goose down feathers. For the piece, Cabourn tapped the rich archives of Eddie Bauer to find the Geddes Clip Jacket, an original made-in-Canada model from days past. The exterior shell is given an updated waxed cotton treatment with reinforced cotton duck shoulder and forearm panels. The tonal jacket boasts a coyote fur hood rim with a checkered tweed wool lining. The Geddes Clip Jacket is now available through Superdenim with a price of £1,000 GBP (approx. $1,605 USD).
