As only the second living artist to have photographed a campaign for Dom Pérignon, David Lynch was granted an uncommon and in-depth insight into the processes behind the luxurious spirit-maker. Lynch was given the privilege of touring the well-regarded Abbey of Hautvillers to gain some perspective into the location where Dom Pierre Pérignon first began experimenting to create champagne in the 17th century. Gavin Elder’s short film captures the experimental photoshoot by Lynch which was to follow, encapsulating the recognizable crest found on every bottle of Dom Pérignon into a completely unique visual presentation marrying sounds with stunning imagery.
