HYPEBEAST affiliate Frank Liew was recently commissioned by the NZ Herald as well as Air New Zealand with the task of discovering fairly unseen territories throughout the exquisite landscape of Tokyo. Having visited within the area roughly two and a half-dozen times, the qubic founder was hard-pressed to stumble upon an entirely different world. Upon uniting with friend and well-known artist/writer Leo Yoshida, whose father grew up Tokyo, Liew was fortunate enough to experience a not so prevalent downtown area of the city. A printed version of his escapades is set to appear in the NZ Herald, but until then, Frank has revealed several snapshots of his adventurous wanderings above.
