ellesse Heritage 2012 Spring/Summer Collection Lookbook

The third season from ellesse Heritage is a collection that draws upon the company’s vibrant sporting past. Both sport- and retro-inspired, the collection aims to be luxe and sophisticated while partaking in the age old Italian tradition of always looking better than the competition. For Spring/Summer 2012, the clothes take their cue from the athletics field of the late 1980s, a time when ellesse was synonymous with world class athletes. The idea that “winners wore ellesse” is represented in the collection via splashes of pastels and bold color blocking, and as always, the clothes are made up of traditional heritage fabrics, which keeps the mood of the collection sophisticated and most importantly, authentic.
