In conjunction with the “Study and Practice” exhibit commemorating visvim’s 10th anniversary year at Gyre in Tokyo, the Japanese label will be releasing a book entitled Dissertation on Self-Verification: 2001-2011. Limited to 300 copies, this hand-bound book will feature vintage visuals and exclusive interviews from the brand’s short yet storied history. Included with the book will be two original films, “A Cycle of Craftsmanship” by Young Kim and Hiroki Nakamura’s “Dissertation on Permeation: Harmony versus Convergence.” Available at visvim’s 10th anniversary exhibit from October 29 through November 26, this collectible book comes with a worthy price tag of ¥58,800 JPY (approx. $772 USD).
