Fila 2012 Spring/Summer The Cage Retro

100-year-old athletic apparel brand Fila finished off the previous century with a decade filled with noteworthy endorsements, however due to these pricey endorsements, the brand began the following century in financial trouble and obscurity. Since its South Korean takeover in 2007 we’ve seen an aggressive global marketing approach, complete with the reemergence of popular products from the ’80s and ’90s. Following this strategy, Fila will be resupplying another favorite from its vault, the high-top “The Cage”. This reinterpreted classic presents itself in a few colorways reminiscent of the ’90s, highlighted by a foam caged ankle brace for unparalleled comfort and support. The Cage Retro will be available during the Spring 2012 season accompanied by The Cage Runner featured here.
