Artisanal Ansatz 2011 Fall/Winter Collection

Artisanal Ansatz is an art collective made up of a small group of Belgian designers that cite surrealism and caricature as chief influences. The group creates T-shirts with popular cultural staples like pop star Lady Gaga, hip-hop god Ol’ Dirty Bastard, and filmmaker Quentin Tarantino among others. Remarkably, all of the designs that end up on their T-shirts are done with a very unlikely and archaic instrument – the ball point pen. The latest release for the fall/winter collection sees a ball point caricature of an aging Woody Allen.
