Aaliyah - I Gotcha' Back

Nine and a half years ago the music world lost one if its most promising stars – Aaliyah Dana Haughton. Her tragic passing came just as she was releasing her excellent third album Aaliyah, which had come out only a month prior to hear death. On this day in 1979, the “Princess of R&B” was born and would have been 32 years old today. Thus, the Hypetrak-team would like to commemorate her unique legacy by posting one of our favorite songs – “I Gotcha’ Back” – which has never received an official video treatment. The track was produced by Jermaine Dupri and appeared on her 1996-album One In A Million. Rest in Peace.
