EXPANSION’s latest collection was inspired by the 16th and 17th century usages of collars known as “ruffs”. These luxurious collars would serve as a visual note of power and status. Combined with the concept of “rolling” and moving along inconspicuously, the EXPANSION 2010 spring/summer collection combines understated details in its pieces to promote an aspect of understated quality. Military themes are visible over some of the jackets as well as staples such as denim, jeans and accessories.
