Following several small previews we now take a closer look into garments and footwear for Winter 2010 from TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSololst., the new label developed by heavyweight Japanese fashion designer Takahiro Miyashita. Carefully cultivated with multiple references to the past, the collection builds off an elegant 19th-century European aesthetic, with an ode to simpler times reflected through every carefully crafted item. The footwear collection also makes quite the impression, anchored by a high top boot and the more traditional mid cut in two colorways. This notable effort from Takahiro Miyashita is now available through Japanese retailer BEAMS.
