Iconic and much acclaimed Japanese streetwear brand, A Bathing Ape link up with Dr. Martens to produce an exciting shoe collaboration for Spring/Summer 2011. The Dr. Martens shoe will be featured as part of the URSUS BAPE range, designed by long-term BAPE collaborator “TET,” Creative Director of Japanese brand WTAPS. The collaboration is based on a vintage saddle shoe from the Dr. Martens back catalog, revived and produced with a characteristic BAPE twist, featured in three exclusive colorways: grey/burgundy, grey/black and grey/navy. This new style is being launched exclusively with URSUS BAPE prior to Dr. Marten’s releasing their own colorways and styles later in the season. They are priced at £230, available at Bape.com and the BAPE LONDON store.
