Acapulco Gold gives us a look into the brand’s latest footwear project, produced alongside respected American designer Mark McNairy and his label New Amsterdam. Made with the finest of materials and craftsmanship, the boots are made in England by craftsmen who have honed their skill and trade for over 100 years. A release is scheduled for December 6th via the brand’s online store. Acapulco Gold breaks down the collaboration a bit further below.
When deciding who to collaborate with each season it’s always good to look to longtime friends for inspiration. We’ve known and worked with Mark for over 10 years, and when he first launched his brand New Amsterdam, we were immediately impressed by the quality and styling of the shoes. His style is very much his own and just like ours, inspired by our shared interest in the finest. The look of the boot is rugged yet tailored and we have included our custom workwear ribbon loop to match the subtle hint of a more rugged ambition in the workwear laces. The leather is full grain and the sole is easily replaceable once worn guaranteeing longevity to your pair of boots. Even more impressive than the construction is the fit. As comfortable a pair of boots one could wear with a buttery padded leather heal and a boot last that will hug feet properly.
