After recent success in New York, famed pop-artist Ron English is soon to open a new edition of “Status Factory” at the Frank Doyle Arts Pavilion, curated by Hurley. Again featuring upwards of 100 works, the exhibition will house a variety of media including sculptures, paintings, and installations designed to fit the Frank Doyle Arts Pavilion space. Fans can expect the usual subversion for which English is most well-known, with several of his works taking the form of characters appropriated from popular culture. The exhibition is scheduled to open November 12.
