Following an initial preview last week, we can now offer a closer look into the 2010 Fall/Winter capsule collection between the iconic Levi’s brand and equally significant Pendleton company. Together they develop a lineup that pairs Levi’s workwear roots and Pendleton’s storied history of beautifully crafted woven goods from the American West. Featured are a couple of different designs, including a Western Trucker Jacket in a rugged Cone Denim and Jacquard-Lined Trucker Jacket. Both feature Pendleton paneling throughout, including a removable vest option on the latter version. Keeping in line with the product’s inspiration, the garments showcased are being worn by two extremely hard-working Navajo cowboys, who ranch and ride in the Southwest desert of the US. Their full story, along with others, will be told in an upcoming “Americana” documentary titled “Bares, Broncs and Bulls in the Navajo Nation” and will air November 15th on VBS.tv.
