The ZX 8000 first appeared in 1989 as a lightweight running model with superior cushioning and a range of more technical elements than previous members of the ZX family. This version features a suede and patent leather upper in a grey and purple colorway for a clean and stylish result. The toe box and elements of the side panel are constructed in a fine grained, premium suede, while the toe bumper and lace stays join up in patent grey with matching grey on the ghilly lacing system. The Puralite midsole is a color-blocked purple with small elements of grey, and works extremely well with the matching upper despite its different materials.
