Rupert Sanderson Saddled Oxford Collection
The classical and slightly bookish cool of the Saddled Oxford chimes with Rupert Sanderson’s

The classical and slightly bookish cool of the Saddled Oxford chimes with Rupert Sanderson’s thoughts on good design. Originally, the Saddled Oxford was developed as a golfing shoe in the early 1910’s. By the 1950’s they were hugely popular in the USA and have now become something of an iconic men’s shoe. The Saddled Oxford has the same spirit and provenance of a Converse One Star, but is the perfect alternative to tired and generic shoes. They have the physical benefits of a ventilated shoe – light and re-solable as well as the quality of a “Made in Italy” shoe, constructed in a highly respected men’s shoe factory. Due to the popularity of his women’s Saddled Oxford collection, and the demand for them from the male market, Rupert Sanderson has decided to design a one-off range for men. The shoes are now available at the Rupert Sanderson Bruton Place store in very limited quantities.
