Having recently celebrated his 69th birthday with an exhibition featuring 69, 6 x 9 prints, the interview takes on a slight pessimistic tone as Araki denounces the current digital trend in photography. Furthermore Araki discuses how the previous approach to photography creates a much different bond between the end product and the photographer. The whole interview can be seen at honeyee.
