The House of Campari returns to Los Angeles, serving as a snapshot of Los Angeles’ current emerging visual arts scene. Entitled “First Look: An Exhibition of Emerging Artists from Los Angeles Galleries,” the show will feature work from a range of bold, emerging visual artists, who will have had their first solo show in Los Angeles in the past season. Participants include Juka Araikawa, Cal Crawford, Noah Davis, Alejandro Diaz, Angela Dufresne, Brad Eberhard, Jonathan Hernández, KAWS, Elad Lassry, Gonzalo Lebrija, Mellisa Manfull, My Barbarian, Adrian Paules, Simmons & Burke, Agathe Snow, Mickalene Thomas and Jeffrey Wells. Each of the artists in the exhibition is represented by a different leading Los Angeles gallery with a commitment to new artistic talent. The exhibition opens this Saturday May 30th and runs until June 14th, 2009.
