Debuting to strong fanfare late last year, the Timberland Abington collection is a throwback to the olden days and Timberland’s role as provider of classic footwear once worn by factory workers, farmers and blacksmiths alike. The Abington collection name is derived from Timberland’s actual old working name Abington Shoe Company and reflects a dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Much of the styles feature premium Horween Leather Comapny materials straight out of Chicago as well as Vibram outsoles (except for the Cupsole model). Two new models for the Spring season are seen here, the Workboot and Fieldboot which will hit select retailers mid-March including Alife Rivington Club, Union, Concepts, Kicks Hawaii, Conveyor @ Fred Segal and Proper.
