Futura Laboratories x Descente FOUR(4)ABLE “BlackWatch” Jacket
Seeing last year’s collection was extremely exciting given the fact that few co-branded partnerships in this industry have strived to hit the technical mark that only a brand such as Descente can achieve. On a graphical level, I found this upcoming capsule more suited to my tastes relative to last year’s green-colored offerings.
Air Jordan I High Premier Pewter
Somewhat reminscent of the Japan-exclusive Air Jordan I that dropped in a metallic silver, these are among my favorites from the Jordan I camp in recent memory. Both these and even the Infrared joints should be some of the best retro+ colorways to drop for the sneaker that we all know started it all.
An interesting mix of traditional styles with little performance details as we see the inclusion of waterproof zips and a solid set of contrasting colorways.
While the massive price tag nearing the $10,000 USD mark is a bit much, you know there’s going to be a huge following of this camera. And while the M8 is definitely a new chapter in the world of Leica thanks to the implementation of a digital system, few like Leica can take cameras to new heights in both aesthetics and photo quality.
Having felt that there was already a nearing saturation point for the boat shoe, J.Crew has found a way to keep things fresh and simple with this upcoming release. The distressed leather was a nice touch that certainly didn’t come across as unnatural or contrived.
Jeff Hamada for Converse 1Hund(RED)
Personal favorite and all-around good guy Jeff Hamada preps himself for the upcoming release of his special Converse 1Hund(RED). We all know the timeless title the All Star has earned but the design itself is sick!!!
A Bathing Ape Online Store Announcement
Having no 3rd party dealers, your pickings are slim if you’re a Bape-head as you’re essentially left to fend for yourself via resellers. Maybe a sign of the times, but Bape certainly has taken a new and important step with their online presence, but with it and for better or worse comes the anticipated “online exclusive” drops.
Street Shots from Paris Fashion Week
With all eyes on Paris, it’s good to see what’s up on deck in terms of style from a number of influential parties who were in attendance
Pharrell Williams x A Bathing Ape Bapesta
Having never really took a huge liking to the Bapesta, this pair instantly caught my attention. The fragment HTM-esque treatment on the Air Force 1 looks dually awesome in yellow on the Bapesta.
adidas Originals Consortium Micropacer
One of my favorite adidas sneakers of all-time, the concept of a simple computer integrated into a shoe and conceived all the way back in ‘84 still has me shocked. With 2009 being the 60th anniversary of adi and the 25th anniversary of the Micropacer, this shoe is a fitting tribute.
