The Y-3 collection by adidas and Yohji Yamamoto continues to impress with their 2009 spring/summer preview. Relying on minimal branding, the line is complete using simple color and design, especially for the consumer not into heavily branded garments. A strong use of black is certainly evident yet not overpowering, with toned down colors used throughout. Y-3 not only gears toward the fashion market, but continues its adidas sport element keeping the Y-3 collection relevant in both cultures.
