Ace Hotel New York | Palm Springs

News regarding designer hotelier Ace Hotel has surfaced regarding the planned opening of two new locations on opposite coasts in Palm Springs and New York. No strangers to collaborative projects including Number (N)ine, upcoming efforts will include SMEG Refrigerators, a special curation of music from Other Music with front desk sales of CDs and vinyl, custom Pendleton blankets and a robe/hooded sweatshirt (exclusive to Ace Hotel New York) done with Vancouver based brand Wings+Horns. New York’s Roman and Williams are at the center of the hotel’s design with sketches from Roman and Williams’ Stephen Alesch seen here. The New York location will open its doors later this year with Palm Springs seeing an early 2009 inauguration date.
