For inhabitants of the island of Hawaii, local culture and folklore has placed a special relationship with the tiger shark. Known as ‘aumakua or ancestral spirit, the tiger shark has earned the titled as one of the most dangerous creatures of the sea and more likely to attack un-provokingly then the well-known Great White shark. In honor of this great fish, Fitted Hawaii has put together a special New Era 59FIFTY and matching t-shirt titled Ho’o mano, meaning “to behave like a shark, to pursue women ardently”. The hat itself is chock full of details with a woven tan linen and teal highlights throughout such as a the logo, sweatband and underbill. Even more impressive is the inclusion of the Hawaii State Seal within silk liner. The hats (100 pieces) and shirts (80 pieces) will release on Saturday, August 30th at 11:00 am local Hawaii time with phone orders being accepted at 12:00 pm.
