Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes Remix Series Xander | Pride

With the first airing of this project seen with a full-fledged art exhibition titled Glorious Excess (Born), here’s a further look into artist/Linkin Park member Mike Shinoda’s DC Remix Series collection. A common theme carried over from the Glorious Excess (Born) art show is seen on two styles, the high-top Xander and Pride. Each style is marked by earthy color tones and numerous detailing from the clear soles depicting Shinoda’s artwork to careful laser etching on the side panels. It’s evident a lot of thought went into the creation of this collection with the addition of extra laces and a booklet featuring Mike’s work also included. An opening reception for the public and autograph signing on July 11 runs from 8-10 p.m.
