In a return to creating products aside from music and fashion, Kitsune has linked up with heralded perfumer James Heely once again to create the Glace au Pain d’Epices candle. Known as gingerbread in the French language, the Glace au Pain d’Epices features warm strong scents of ingredients utilized in the classic French recipe including cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, white pepper, and ginger with subtle notes of vanilla and dark honey. Good enough to eat scent, the candle comes complete with visuals as the screen printed glass includes the foundations of gingerbread seen on the glass such as flour, sugar, ginger and spices. The messy nature of the overall aesthetic is deliberate as it pays homage to the process of gingerbread creation. On the technical side of things, the made in France candle will yield over 50 hours of burn time with a high quality woven cotton wick with pewter armature to ensure the wick never wanes.
