Japanese brands often strive for authenticity in the reproduction of their American inspired apparel. Such sentiments have often resulted in collaborations with relatively unknown classic American brands including Wyoming’s Rocky Mountain Feather Bed. The brand has lent their expertise in quality outerwear in a team up with Japanese brand SiFury. Items include a classic Mountain Parka as well as the popular Christy Vest. Available now at Zicue.
A new pack of colorful Puma Clydes have dropped. Despite the relatively simple nature of the Clyde, Puma has three highly contrasting colorways on this basketball classic. The uppers feature buttery monotone colored suede with a contrasting color on the sole. The colors include green/violet, orange/blue and blue/red. Available now at Ubiq.
Justice’s latest video for their track Stress has dropped. The electronica duo of of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay has put forth another strong track complete with a riveting video which follows a series of Justice thugs creating havoc in the neighborhood, ultimately culminating in the torching of a car and the crap kicking of the camera crew.
Despite HUF’s strong allegiance with Nike, skate brand DVS has always been integral part of HUF’s footwear arsenal. New more subtle colorways was created for the Huf 5 Lows and Huf 5 Runners. The 2 sneakers uses a stealthier purple/black/gray colorway with HUF’s signature earthquake pattern; the HUF 5 Lows uses extra durable suede as its primary material and the Huf 5 runners utilizes smooth leather.

Slap, one of the original skateboarding magazines, collaborated with Nike SB to commemorate its 15th anniversary. The collaboration uses Nike SB’s Abbington as the base with all 15 covers of the magazine printed. It is mainly black with blue toe and heel accents and an embroidered roman numeral, XV, on the front. These will only be available in select shops in the U.S.

TADO, Jon Burgerman, and ilovedust are amongst some of the UK’s most famous artists. Together they have created a new three pack of 8” Dunny’s (Zulu Mong, Tea Bear, and Uncle Bucky) with a black and blue color palette. Along with the individually packaged figures come accessories like a mallet, bone-dry teacup and fishing rod. Each box will feature artwork from all three artists as well. As if this collaborative effort was not brilliant enough, ilovedust and TADO will be signing the figures in person at Kid Robot Miami and New York. Retail is $50 for each figure.
