Utilizing Base Control’s popular t-shirt as the base, Head Porter Plus has created a special collaborative t-shirt titled “Summer Breeze”. Available in red or blue tones, the three different t-shirts feature vivid beach scenery. Available now at Cliffedge.
Representing subject matter parallel to the new ongoing feature on Freshjive titled The World’s Got Problems comes Freshjive’s t-shirt collection “The Good Ol’ Days”. Both finding a common denominator in world problems, the politically motivated themes of both the t-shirts and the blog are a interesting take on the ideologies of Freshjive founder Rick Klotz and The World’s Got Problems contributor Jason Rosencrantz.

The store has two large windows facing the busy downtown streets, showing off works such as the skate decks by Element, posters by Obey and Jeremy Fish, a chronological display of “untitled” books, and finally the complete collection of “Streetwear Today” magazines. Rockwell, Alife, and Patta all came together to design the Alife Everybody Mid “Rap”. The colorway of the shoe is very American, mainly blue with white sole and shoelaces and red accents. On the tongue, it writes out the name of all 3 brands, fitting together to form a rectangle. Overall, a very fresh shoe with a clever name and subtle details such as the different shades of blues and alternating colored shoelace holes. The shoe is set to be released on April 29th at Patta Amsterdam with the release party on the same night, and May 3rd at Alife NYC, Alife LA, and Alife Vancouver.
