Asics Gel Lyte III | GT-II

Our sentiments over here have been surprisingly good for the majority of releases coming out of Asics. Their archival footwear models like the Gel Lyte II and GT-II both share stream-line silhouettes from an era of rather chunky footwear. Despite being pretty much the precursor to Nike’s success over 30 years ago, Asics are doing well in their own regard thanks largely in part to great colorways. These are available now at Solebox who have also just debuted their very own micro-chip black VIP card which will be available soon.

Ed Banger x Revolver Hoodie

Ed Banger x Revolver Hoodie

We originally saw Japanese clothing brand Revolver and French music label Ed Banger begin a partnership last year on a series of product. Much of the collaboration artwork has been done by Ed Banger’s resident creative director SO_ME with no exception here as SO_ME puts together a touch of Ed Banger to a Revolver logo hoodie. Beams x Head Porter 2008 Spring/Summer Briefcase

Beams x Head Porter 2008 Spring/Summer Briefcase

The ongoing collaboration between Beams and Head Porter recently included a briefcase as part of their 5th anniversary. Suitable for spring and summer, the bag is made from canvas with special treatments. Though it looks like leather in the pictures, a hand rubbed treatment was used to achieve this look. “The fabric of “FREE STYLE” has a unique texture of the contraction which is made by the piece-dyed high-density canvas #10 with clear polyurethane pressure bonding. Every piece was finished by hand-rubbing to make the leather-like texture. The artisan skill is one of the characteristics of this series.” More to come on high profile collabos from Beams x Head Porter. Source: All Beams
