“Placing Things Where They Should Be” represents the personal design philosophy of WTAPS founder Tetsu Nishiyama. In association with Tetsu’s latest project Hoods, his personal statement is captured on a special exhibition tee. The faded army green features a statement on the front and back. The t-shirt is currently available for pre-order only at Hoods Hong Kong with a release date set for after the conclusion of the Previously Opening exhibition, March 24th. The t-shirt’s price tips the scales at a staggering $1699 HKD (approximately $218 USD).
The end of this month will mark Amos Toys’ first release for 2008 as they set the year off with a James Jarvis drawing turned toy, the Bird God. The Bird God was originally seen within the pages of Jarvis’ Selected Drawings book. Claims of a glow in the dark version have been substantiated with this recent picture provided by Amos Toys. No word yet on whether this will be a special release or its availability.
To launch their 2008 Spring/Summer collection, RockersNYC has hit up some of their closest friends to model off their t-shirt styles for this season. The Sound & Fury collection much like releases of the past incorporate a certain visual aesthetic and music inspirations that has become ingrained in Rockers’ design ethos. Linda Farrow started her own fashion label back in 1970 designing and creating highly sought after Sunglasses. In April 2003, Linda Farrow decided to relaunch her British sunglasses label under the name of Linda Farrow Vintage. This season, Linda Farrow Vintage will release a series of collaboration sunglasses with designers like Jeremy Scott, Raf Simons, Rodarte and Bernhard Willhelm. Six new styles are now available at Colette.
