The British brand Silas incorporates art, culture and music into its fashion. This ten year old brand will be opening two new flagship SILAS & MARIA stores in Omiya and Nagoya, Japan. To commemorate the opening of these stores, they will release a limited edition mesh cap and an environment friendly tote bag. If you’re in any of these Japanese cities, be sure to check out the stores.
The Omiya store opens on February 23 and the Nagoya store opens on March 7.

Mura from M&M (makers of handmade furniture) and TET from WTAPS has has jointly created a brand inspired by their love for Motorcycles. The brand called SPIT has release a new coach jacket which features the SPIT logo on the front and a graphic on the back. Also, the phrase “No Pain, No Gain” are printed on the sleeves of the jacket. This jacket which cost 13,650 YEN is now available at Figure.
World Renowned Hip Hop/R&B artist Pharrell Williams and Japan’s music producer Nigo from APE SOUNDS are hosting Star Bape Search which is an audition to find the next female R & B artist. The audition will consist of several stages and will be broadcast on the NIGOLDENEYE show through MTV. The winner of the auction will get One Million Yen and also their own debut CD with APE SOUNDS. The Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama was born on March 29, 1929. “Her work shows some attributes of feminism, minimalism, surrealism, Art Brut, pop art, and abstract expressionism, and is infused with autobiographical, psychological, and sexual content.” (Wikipedia) To commemorate the documentary film “≒ Yayoi Kusama: I love”, XLarge and X-girl has collaborated with Porter to create a set of Yayoi Kusama bags. There are two styles available, a messenger bag for the guys and a tote bag for the girls. These bags will be released on March 8th.

The streetwear label Rogue Status has teamed up with Italian bike maker Bianchi to create this wonderful Bianchi x Rogue Status Fixed Gear Bike. This bike comes in a simple white and black color with Rogue Status logos plastered on various parts.
