Yo! MTV Raps aired on MTV on in 1988 and was one of the first hip hop music shows hosted by Doctor Dré, Ed Lover and Fab 5 Freddy. Since 2006, Puma has taken inspiration from the Yo! MTV Raps music show and has applied it on a series of sneakers and apparel. For this time around, Puma has used the First Round model and has create a pair of sneakers with white, hot pink and neon yellow accents. These colorful sneakers will be available sometime in Spring and will come in limited quantities.

Last week, we had a preview of the upcoming Levi’s sneakers. These shoes are special because they are constructed from different pairs of jeans meaning no two pairs will be the same. For the release of the shoes, the sneaker boutique from Taipei, Taiwan is hosting an exhibition which shows off the sneakers. The exhibition runs from February 23 to March 22. The shoes will be release soon as well.
Showcasing why MasterCraft continues to lead progression and performance in the luxury towboat scene, together with Nike 6.0 they recently unveiled a one-off custom boat-wrap for TSR (Texas Ski Ranch). Designed by Seattle-based $irlin Enterprises and wrapped by System AVD, MasterCraft chose their 2008 X-Star wakeboat as the canvas. The boat-wrap series will continue as a handful of one-offs for brand partners such as Oakley, Hyperlite, Quicksilver, Body Glove and Ronix, and look for a MasterCraft x $irlin consumer boat-wrap line in Spring 2008 available through MasterCraft’s international dealer network.
The Ricoh GR series has been a favorite camera for many HYPEBEAST due to its slick style and of course its camera functions. Just a few days ago, Ricoh just announced their new model, the R8, which is a compact digital camera that features a 7.1x optical wide-angle zoom lens and a 10 megapixel CCD. It also offers the ability to take 1:1 ratio pictures like similar to the Ricoh Caplio GX100 and the GR Digital II. The R8 takes the place of the R7 model and has a whole new look which will definitely appeal to a wide audience especially to the HYPEBEAST. The camera will be available starting March 7th.
