House of Cassette 2008 Spring/Summer Collection

“A Study of Movement in Quiet Space” represents the narrative for House of Cassette’s 2008 Spring/Summer collection. On the heels of their previous 2007 Fall/Winter direction, this latest capsule embodies some similar characteristics as it strives to achieve through its voyage through uncharted territories. Unlike previous releases, this most recent design aesthetic embodies color rather then it’s usually monochromatic palette to create a new direction. As a brand with such a rich concept, House of Cassette is surely on a path for success given it’s upcoming offerings. The full lookbook can be seen at the site while a list of stockists can be found here.

N. Hoolywood 2008 Spring/Summer "After Sputnik" Collection

As a brand founded on the concept of reinventing a storied American past (one must just look at their Japan flagship store created out of old Hollywood fixtures), N. Hoolywood has looked to the Space Race of the past between the Americans and Soviets as the inspiration for their 2008 Spring/Summer collection, titled “After Sputnik”. The collection features astronaut inspired dress alongside designs based on the dress of the maintenance crew. An interesting concept to say the least. Source: Skeleton Legs

Methamphibian x SBTG x Leftfoot x New Balance 576 Heaven & Hell Pack

As world famous sneaker customizers Methamphibian and SBTG hit the drawing board for a run of exclusive designs for Singapore’s Leftfoot boutique, they sought to go against the recent New Balance trend of utilizing various colors and material combos. Instead they decided on a uniform design to represent the theme of Heaven and Hell with intense detailing. From afar, the details are subtle and barely visible, however upon closer inspection the sneaker comes to life. With a release date slated for April, look for these to remain exclusive to Asia. Leftfoot (Singapore/Taipei) and Japanese retailers UNDEFEATED, Mita and Atmos will all split the 444 pairs per color.
