Parrot "Zikmu" Speakers by Philippe Starck

Teaming up with highly regarded French product designer Philippe Starck, leading wireless company Parrot create a set of wireless speakers. The new “Zikmu” style incorporates a duo iPhone/iPod dock with Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities. Using a NXT flat panel technology, the “Zikmu” will feature a 360-degree system, pushing out premium sound quality throughout an area rather than creating only one “sweet-spot” so to speak. One of the neatest features is the ability to stream music from a computer or hand-held device directly to the speakers. Standing 2.5’ tall with device recharger and remote control, the columns will retail for a steep $1,500 USD, releasing in the Spring of 2009.
